Crossroads of Character:
Follow the six cousins through their day to day learning adventures . This colorfully illustrated book teaches your child 12 basic character qualities, vital to your child`s understanding of how to make wise choices in their everyday lives. The Boyer cousins (my grandchildren) are the main characters in the simple but effective stories in decision making. The goal is to teach your child the definition of the character qualities (your child can`t implement character in their lives without understanding what it is), and also teaches them a Scripture verse, (what God says about it).
Character Trails :Learning to Walk in Paths of Righteousness
This exciting kids` character book by Marilyn Boyer is the newest addition to our Character Concepts curriculum. Sure to be a hit with both moms and children, Character Trails teaches the essential character qualities of attentiveness, boldness, decisiveness, joyfulness, flexibility, availability, generosity, courage, orderliness, endurance, thoroughness, and compassion.
Practical hands-on projects make learning come alive. Interesting "application questions" make it easy for you and your child to apply lessons to real life situations!
You will meet a wide variety of worthy heroes including General Douglas MacArthur, blind hymn writer Fanny Crosby, even canine hero Balto, the sled dog who saved Nome from the plague by carrying the vaccine through an impossible blizzard! Each character quality is illustrated in history, Scripture and "everyday life" stories. And it all come to life through the eyes of "the cousins" as a series of charming photos illustrate stories throughout the book.
Prepare to be amazed at how much fun great character can be!!
Character in Action: Taking the First Steps
Join the Boyer cousins as they turn begin to put character in action in this third book in the Learning Character with the Cousins series! God has us on this earth to be his servants and to invest our lives in the lives of others. Don't know how to get started? We've got some ideas. We've been learning how to reach out and become engaged in ministry projects. The needs are great. All we have to do is ask God to show up which ones He wants us to get involved in. Cassidy, Luke, Adam, Anne, Melody, Lauren, along with their younger brothers and sisters, Patrick, Michael, James, Ella, Lainey, Autumn, Lynn and Paul have been busy this year ministering to widowers, veterans, elderly folks, children with life-threatening diseases, emergency service personnel to name a few as well as making their voices heard at pro-life rallies and the polling place. They hope to give you a vision of ways you can get involved spreading the gospel and blessing the lives of others in your sphere of influence. Put on your walking shoes and join us in taking the next step!
