Teddy started life as a sickly child but chose to live “the strenuous life” and became a strong, courageous man.  Fiercely patriotic, he believed in the ideals of America and worked hard all his life to make his native country a better one.  Today, his face is memorialized in stone along with those of Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson on Mount Rushmore.

This excellent biography of Roosevelt will give boys a hero who will challenge them to dream great dreams and do great things. Any boy who strives to be like Roosevelt is sure to become a man who makes a difference.
