Level 5- Ages 8-13- Learn what Scripture says about 32 negative character traits and their corresponding positive character qualities!
Growing in Wisdom study- This study is based on the popular handout Identifying and Dealing with Offenses by Marilyn Boyer. Your child will learn 32 types of negative behavior and their Biblical consequences. Through insights learned from God`s Word, your child will be guided in making an intentional decision to choose positive, godly character in their day to day life. God has the answer for turning our negative natural tendencies into choices which reflect the character of Jesus Christ.
Growing in Wisdom Flashcards is a set of 32 flashcards to be used in coordination with Growing in Wisdom Character Studies. 32 flashcards are provided to help children learn the positive quality which is the opposite of the negative trait demonstrated. On the back side of the card is the Scripture verse which addresses the problem with it`s reference and also an insight to be gleaned from Scripture directed at helping your child to make a wise practical decision.
NEW!! We are giving you 2 sets of these flashcards as some people prefer a different version than KJV. Both sets are digtial. You can print and laminate if you wish. One set has the verses in KJV on the back side. The other set is identical on front side providing the reference. On the back side you can write the reference in the version you choose for your child to memorize in. When you purchase the curriculum you will be sent a link to access the digital flashcards.

I recently ordered "Growing In Wisdom" for my 11-year-old grandson, whom we are homeschooling for our daughter, a single mom. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this study! It's been great for him, as he is not only learning character, but he's learning to study his Bible, to think about what he's reading and how it applies to his life. He's also learning to work between different translations and compare the wording. It's going to be life-changing, I can see that.~ Maureen
My girls and I have been studying your bible curriculum entitled, "Growing in Wisdom." It is absolutely wonderful and the best study I have ever done with my children! My children are 8 & 11 years of age and this study has provided them, as well as myself, with insight into God's character versus the character of the flesh in ways beyond my comprehension. As we study using your guide, I can see a zeal being produced in my children as this guide helps them to truly see their Heavenly Father and the virtues that living for Christ produce vs. the consequences of our giving in to the temptations of sin. This study guide has given us the greatest opportunities to speak of God's needed grace in our lives as we see how He dealt with His people throughout the ages in scripture, and thus our TRUE need for a Savior. When we are looking up verses that reveal how people in the bible sinned and the consequences brought about because of their sin, my children have stopped many times and asked "how" and "why" God did what He did or said what He said which has opened up wonderful opportunities to share the plan of salvation with them. It has been extremely insightful to my children, and myself, to isolate different peoples lives in scripture and see how our God dealt with them. The way you have written this study shows what God says to his people, what their response to His words are, and most importantly the consequence for their response. This is a study guide that truly allows our children to see the Lord's will in their everyday walk with Him as well as seeing the consequences of NOT choosing the path that leads to life in their everyday decision making. I am so thankful that you allowed the Lord to lead you to write this guide. I believe that this guide reveals the "truths" from God's Word like none other we have ever studied and it does so in a way that focuses our heart and mind on His righteousness and Glory and truly allows us to hear and know the "will" of God. ~Kerrie

our Bible time guide
we love this resource! We have used this book during Bible time for years. Though, I'm sure it was written for individual use, due to circumstances here, together, we look up several verses a day and talk about the character quality (or lack there of) until we finish the topic. (We have memorized several of the verses.) Then we go to the next "one" (we pick each next character topic based on the need at the moment!) thank you for the resource!
